Through our approach, we are reducing risk and liability for financial institutions across the UK. The QASSS service provides risk mitigation at all stages and ensures appropriate evidencing, checking, monitoring and validation throughout the customer journey including the sales process.
Most contractor networks or membership organisations offer an initial accreditation process for businesses and traders, with the occasional desktop or on-site audit at a company’s premises. This approach only ensures that the applicant is operating correctly at the time of the audit. It doesn’t monitor the process throughout the home improvement project.
Therefore, this approach does not help financial businesses to safeguard themselves against claims from consumers under Sections 56 and 75 of the Consumer Rights Act.

As a company we have only required mediation a small amount of times since becoming a member and found that they have a very fair, independent approach to this, not siding with either the customer or the company; just direct mediation, without emotion, drawing the line based on facts of the contractual agreement.
